Manage Your Love Life like a Successful Business

MNM
Is your love life currently less than satisfying? Maybe the problem is the way you're managing it. Like a successful business, a successful love life doesn't just happen by itself. You have to make it happen.

Romantic relationships can and should be managed in such a manner as to increase their likelihood of long term success. Some concepts from the corporate world can help you the learn the skills, strategies and techniques you will need to effectively develop and maintain healthy, happy, satisfying, fulfilling and successful romantic relationships.

Defining Your Objectives

The first thing you need to do before you start a new relationship is to take some time to figure out what you want from the relationship. Even if you are already involved with someone, you still need to figure out what you want from the relationship. Is marriage your ultimate goal? Or do you want to be in a committed long term relationship sans the vows? Is monogamy your bottom line? Or do you have a desire to be able to play the field with your lover's approval?

Once you've defined your objectives, you can create a relationship plan that will serve as a guide to help you create and sustain successful relationships.

Develop A Relationship Plan

Like a well-thought-out business plan, a solid relationship plan should include an overview of your goals and objectives for the relationship, a description of the type of individual you desire to have as a significant other-including important physical, mental, emotional, psychological and spiritual characteristics; shared values; marital, health, parental and financial status; and desirable interests/abilities-action steps you are prepared to take to develop, nurture and support such a relationship; and criteria for assessing the success or failure of the relationship. A SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis of the relationships potential for success should be a component of your relationship plan.

A carefully crafted and well written relationship plan will help you focus on the things that are important to you in a relationship and implement strategies to help you attain them.

Position Your Brand

This is where you prepare yourself for the meet market. In this phase, you need to focus on your own readiness for pursuing a relationship and take the necessary steps to renew, rejuvenate and revitalize yourself in order to take on this task. Read my article titled "Make Yourself A Top Priority Before Seeking A Romantic Relationship" for advice on this subject.

Marketing and Advertising

At this phase, you need to focus you energy on making sure your product (you) is well represented on the market (dating scene). Here is where you concentrate on looking your absolute best, and making sure you're sure your appearance communicates that you are not only attractive, but approachable and available. Read my article titled "Make Sure Your Appearance Communicates The Message You Want It To" for advice on this matter.

Earn Interest

In order to find the right man and put your plan into action, you have to find men and make them develop an interest in you.

Fortunately, since men makeup half the population of the planet we inhabit, this won't be a problem. You can find men at work, at the health club, at the grocery store...sometimes they will even come to your front door bearing mail or packages. Be on the lookout for good prospects wherever you may encounter men when you are in search mode.

The bigger challenge is finding the men you find desirable and piquing their interest in you. For advice on how to do this, read my article titled "How to Make Yourself Irresistible to Men."

Perform Due Diligence

In this day and age, you need to know what you're getting into before dive headfirst into a relationship. Is your prospective mate a con artist? A convicted sex offender? A deadbeat dad? You cannot be too cautious when it comes to matters of the heart. Therefore, I strongly advise you to check out anyone you are seriously considering as a lover.

There's no need to put a detective on retainer just yet. Start by running his name through the popular online search engines. If suspicion warrants, you can always spend a few dollars for a discreet background search on the Web.

It may seem a bit extreme. However, lovers and husbands share much more than your bedroom. When you consider that your taxes, credit, bank accounts, property, reputation and life could be placed at risk if you choose the wrong mate, it's not difficult to see that a little research on the front end could save a lot of heartache on the back end.

Cut Your Losses

When you see that a relationship is not working for you and has little potential to benefit you over the long run, cut your losses and get out. It makes no sense to waste precious time cultivating a relationship that is going nowhere.

Good point, yes, we have to manage our life and love just like our career or business. Only with our heart then we could get our successful real love and I am so lucky on interracialchats dotcom. Now both of us are happy about our life that we are managing. LOL...
