Management at Bally's Poker Room Dazzles

Bally's Poker Room is Not the Best in Las Vegas, but It's Worth a Trip

Unlike many of the best poker rooms on the Las Vegas Strip, the poker room at Bally's isn't a room at all. Instead of cozy, separate space to play poker, the poker room at the Bally's Casino is simply a roped off area on the casino floor. Like many of the early Las Vegas casinos, Bally's doesn't seem to take poker seriously enough to give it its own area, but the players there certainly give it their full attention.

The atmosphere and ambiance at Bally's is somewhat casual. Since the poker room is simply a separate section of the casino, poker players are forced to mingle with other casino players. This makes for an experience that leaves something to be desired. Being surrounded by loud slot machines and boisterous gamblers can be somewhat entertaining, but it takes away from the quality of poker play found at Bally's tables. An advantage of this is that players can take smoke breaks without having to leave a separate poker room. While smoking is not allowed at the tables, it is certainly allowed on the casino floor that is just a few feet away.

Since the poker room is so close to the rest of the casino, there is an influx of relatively inexperienced players who are drawn to the easily accessible location. This makes for some of the softest play in the entire city. Bally's offers only two different no-limit games. The $1/$2 is where players can find the softest competition and the $2/$5 no-limit game also attracts some weak players. The players that frequent Bally's seem to be the type of Las Vegas novice that has never had a seat at a poker table before. For average poker players, this is one of the easiest places to make money on the entire Strip.

The folks at Bally's like to make players feel very welcome. With their relatively new tables, knowledgeable dealers, and nice disposition, the staff is certainly an advantage. As far as cocktails go, the waitresses at Bally's are some of the quickest in terms of service. While they might not be the best looking women in Las Vegas, they keep you happy and refreshed.

The poker room at Bally's is not the nicest room in Las Vegas, but it is one of the most accommodating. For players who are looking for a small casino with weak cash games, head over to Bally's. Their improved management will do their best to take care of you.
