Eat more Raw Food
I've incorporated more of a raw diet as a result of gluten sensitivity. What's great about that is the raw live fruits and veggies don't have a high price tag like some of the gluten free products do, and eating mostly raw has helped me stay trim and fit. If you can purchase a juicer, blender and food processor, you'll be ready to be well, eat well, and live well from implementing this diet.
Take Gluten Free Cooking Classes
I am an employee of Outpost Natural Foods, a co-op type of business that specializes in natural foods. Gluten free is something I hear all day while working. We have some great gluten free cooking classes given by the in house certified nutrionist. The community can register for classes to learn how to purchase food and cook gluten free foods that are tasty and healthy. If you seek this type of thing out in your own community, you're sure to stumble upon something similar.
Check Out the Gluten Free Blogs
There's a plethora of gluten free blogs and support sites that exchange information and have chats to help those with gluten allergies. Simply doing a gluten free search will render you a lengthy list of gluten free blogs and other GF sites that are great resources for support to those with this health issue.
Remember to give yourself time to adjust to a gluten free diet. It's a whole new world, but once you've spent a bit of time doing it, just like anything else, you'll feel comfortable with things, not to mention you'll enjoy a better quality life from making the adjustment.
