Mankind Hides from God

David Ben-Ariel
Mankind hides from God. Mankind can't handle God's awesome presence and freaks out and hide themselves from Him whenever He does touch base with us.

Genesis 3:8
And they hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden.

Exodus 20
18 Now all the people [of Israel fresh out of Egypt] witnessed the thunderings, the lightning flashes, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain [Mt. Sinai] smoking; and when the people saw it, they trembled and stood afar off. 19 Then they said to Moses, "You speak with us, and we will hear; but let not God speak with us, lest we die."

Revelation 6
14 Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. 15 And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, 16 and said to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!

God has chosen to offer mankind His revelation, recorded in the Book of Books, the Holy Bible, and folks are still hiding their eyes from what it says, fearful of necessary change and growing pains, or just plain proud and stubborn, content to stay put in their traditional darkness rather than walk in the celestial light.

Mankind hopes for contact with Extraterrestrials, with a Higher Life Form, an Advanced Civilization, and yet rejects the message the Gods (Elohim) have given us - in print and in Person. Nothing new under the sun.

An "abomination" by your self-righteous standard? Doesn't mean much. May you learn to think like God (Isa. 55:7-9) and be well.

Your god - as shown by you - is an abomination.
