Man-made Global Warming: The Fraud, the Lies and the Crime

If you heard about Climategate in the past two or three weeks, you are in luck. Climategate, which is in part named after Watergate, or Bushgate due to the level of fraud and lying is according to many scientists the biggest scandal that ever overshadowed the scientific community. It all starts with the leaked e-mails and documents -more than 60 MB- from the University of East Anglia´s Climate Research Unit. Why all the hype? Well, the documents revealed among other things that the programmers at the Unit were purposely manufacturing the data they based their interpretations regarding man-made global warming. In addition, -the e-mails reveal- there was a policy of zero tolerance on dissent as well as an intentional manipulation of public opinion through censorship and secrecy.

What is driving the deceit of so many scientists? The answer to this is: a whole new industry. The scientific community depends to a great degree on donations, endowments and research funds in order to perform its activities. The more alarm there is about a topic like anthropogenic global warming the more funding will flow to the scientific community. Phil Jones, the head of the Climate Research Unit has received 55 endowments since 1990 which amount to over $22 million. Nineteen of those twenty-two were given to him and his colleagues at East Anglia between 2000 and 2006. In other words, as the global warming issue took center stage in the public arena, it caused a snowball effect which meant more funding for the study of global warming. Some of the most important donating agencies that gave to Jones and his partners are the U.S. Department of Energy, NATO, and the UN. Other sources of potential funding for the flawed research are the UK based Carbon Trust, the Northern Energy Initiative, the Energy Saving Trust and Renewables North West. The total number of dollars destined to investigate anthropogenic global warming is in the trillions of dollars a year.

In a recent article published in the Wall Street Journal, Bret Stephens reveals how long the tentacles of this new industry are.

"The European Commission's most recent appropriation for climate research comes to nearly $3 billion, and that's not counting funds from the EU's member governments. In the U.S., the House intends to spend $1.3 billion on NASA's climate efforts, $400 million on NOAA's, and another $300 million for the National Science Foundation. American states also have a piece of the action, with California-apparently not feeling bankrupt enough-devoting $600 million to their own climate initiative. In Australia, alarmists have their own Department of Climate Change at their funding disposal." Stephens writes

For people to understand how great the issue of man-made global warming has been for this new industry they need to recognize the examples. The first one being the financing of the very scientists who committed fraud. The second example is who else benefits besides the part of the scientific community that is pushing anthropogenic warming on the rest. Al Gore, among other globalists is one of those who has filled his pockets as a consequence of what many call the "New Religion". The New York Times revealed on a report by Jon Broder that Gore´s companies as well as those which he is heavily invested in, such as Silver Spring Networks, received contracts that go beyond the hundreds of millions of dollars. In the case of Silver Spring, one of the contracts was for $560 million. Good entrepreneurship? Gore insists this does not reflect his hunger for money, but his interest in the environment.

Al Gore´s Generation Investment Management, which is known for commercializing carbon offset opportunities in the Chicago Climate Exchange is the largest shareholder at the exchange. These along with other investments Gore realized along with people like Maurice Strong, the father of the modern environmental movement, shine a bright light on why this agenda is being pursued so vehemently. Gore and Strong are both students of the Club of Rome, whose report "The First Global Revolution"admits how the globalists plan to use the theory of man-made global warming to further their agenda of consolidating power into the hands of non-elected organizations such as the UN the European Union, the African Union, The Asia Pacific Union, Mercosur, PARLACEN and others. The report reads in part:

"In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill. All these dangers are caused by human intervention, and it is only through changed attitudes and behavior that they can be overcome. The real enemy then, is humanity itself.,"

Ideas such as Cap and Trade are part of a concerted effort to take the power off the hands of the people and put it in the hands of unelected officials who are ever more involved with global corporations. The adoption of policies to reduce carbon emissions globally, which is what the representatives of the planet´s nations intend to discuss in Copenhagen, Denmark would mean a significant slow down of the world´s industry in both developed and underdeveloped countries. This initiative does not seem wise in a moment when the global economy is balancing itself at the edge of the precipice. David Davis, a member of the conservative party in England says the adoption of policies like Cap and Trade would impose a severe limitation to the economy. Davies added later that it is not surprising to him that more than half the population no longer believes in man-made warming due to the fact data shows the planet has cooled for the past 10 years. This assertion was one of the many the scientists at East Anglia tried to hide from the public by altering the results of the climate models through the use of "tricks" developed by the computer programmers they work with.

Rise of the Fallen

Astrophysicist Nir Shaviv, one of the scientists who showed opposition to the theory of man-made warming, and who was censored by his colleagues at East Anglia says the revelations in the documents and e-mails do not come as a surprise to him. Whether the e-mails reveal censorship or fake data is not something new to Shaviv, who was nastily smeared as he showed the results of his own research to those who push the idea of anthropogenic warming. Shaviv says an editor of a prominent scientific publication told him that any articles which opposed the man-made global warming issue were politically motivated, and therefore must be rejected. "The hysteria surrounding the concept of 'global warming' will fade over the years... People will see that the apocalyptic forecasts are not coming true. Today there is no fingerprint attesting that carbon dioxide emission causes a rise in temperature, " says Shaviv. He as hundreds of other climatologists, meteorologists, astrophysicists, paleontologists and oceanographers have studied the influence the sun has in the planet´s weather and have determined that it is indeed the gigantic fire ball in space which is responsible for driving the weather, not carbon dioxide emissions. The famous -today infamous- hockey stick graph that purportedly showed the increase in temperature as a result of increasing emissions was fraudulently used in Gore´s cartoonish film "An Inconvenient Truth". Gore had to retire the graph as the smoking gun of man made warming after it was discovered he and his cohorts simply decided to flip it to show the false relationship. The real relationship between CO2 emissions and temperature is that after temperature rises, carbon dioxide follows with a lag of up to 800 years. What then, drives climate and weather

Both Shaviv and Ball explain how solar activity drives climate. Historical records -not manipulated climate models- show that climate and weather forecasts are more effectively predicted when solar activity is taken into account. The number of sun spots which relate to the level of activity of the sun help scientists determine the amount of solar wind. Solar wind directly affects the amount of cosmic rays that reach the Earth, which along with water droplets form clouds in the sky. Again, historical records show that this theory is very solid. After compiling information from as far back as 8000 years, scientists determined that sun spot activity is what directly affects climate. Both the Little Ice Age and the Holocene Maximum, two periods of cooling and warming, coincided with a decrease and an increase of sun activity. When more solar wind reached the Earth´s atmosphere less cosmic rays reached the planet and less clouds were formed, hence, more warming was detected. Meanwhile, when the solar activity diminished and less solar wind reached the atmosphere, more cosmic rays reached the Earth and more clouds were formed. A period of cooling occurred. The Fraud Unravels

The direct consequences of the fraud discovered in Phil Jones´ Research Unit took little time to unravel. Jones himself stepped down as the manipulator in chief while an internal investigation is conducted. In the United States, congressman James Inhofe called for investigations on the fraud as well as a detailed review of the purported science behind the theory of man-made global warming. Congress in the US held hearings to determine steps to follow after discovering the manipulation and lies which according to Inhofe require a deeper investigation even into the IPCC report. This report is the one through which climate consensus had allegedly been achieved. As it has now been found, the Climate Research Unit provided an important amount of information to the UN and its climate research office to write the IPCC report.

Meanwhile, in Australia the Senate rejected the trading emissions scheme for the second time, as politicians grow aware about the manipulation of data, opinions and the science. The scheme would mean a $114 million tax on everything. Such measure would be accompanied by the mandatory installation of digital gauges in people´s homes which would measure -and critics say eventually regulate- energy consumption. The proponents of anthropogenic warming are also for an environmental police, that would keep tabs on people´s habits in and out of their homes. Countries like Brazil, which have rapidly adopted globalist policies donated millions of acres of the Amazon to the UN in an effort to show concern regarding global warming. In exchange, the country would receive money from developed nations in order to keep an eye on the now United Nations property. The remaining Amazon land and near properties are patrolled by green police trained according to the guidelines expressed in the United Nations Biodiversity Assessment.

If the Club of Rome and its "First Global Revolution" are responsible for the origin of the climate warming fraud, ENRON was the organization responsible for perpetuating the plan and designing a list of measures that must be adopted in order to implement it. The very same Al Gore who now assures people man causes global warming, was the one who met with Ken Lay in the White House to draw the policies he currently pushes in order to save the planet. When asked about such meetings in congressional hearings, Gore dodged the bullet by implying he would never use the science to benefit personally, but did not answer the question directly.

Lord Mockton, probably the most outspoken person in the British parliament, has written a report on the discoveries made from the East Anglia´s documents:

• They had tampered with their own data so as to conceal inconsistencies and errors.

• They had emailed one another about using a "trick" for the sake of concealing a "decline" in temperatures in the paleoclimate.

• They had expressed dismay at the fact that, contrary to all of their predictions, global temperatures had not risen in any statistically-significant sense for 15 years, and had been falling for nine years. They had admitted that their inability to explain it was "a travesty". This internal doubt was in contrast to their public statements that the present decade is the warmest ever, and that "global warming" science is settled.

• They had interfered with the process of peer-review itself by leaning on journals to get their friends rather than independent scientists to review their papers.

• They had successfully leaned on friendly journal editors to reject papers reporting results inconsistent with their political viewpoint.

• They had campaigned for the removal of a learned journal's editor, solely because he did not share their willingness to debase and corrupt science for political purposes.

• They had mounted a venomous public campaign of disinformation and denigration of their scientific opponents via a website that they had expensively created.

• Contrary to all the rules of open, verifiable science, the Team had committed the criminal offense of conspiracy to conceal and then to destroy computer codes and data that had been legitimately requested by an external researcher who had very good reason to doubt that their "research" was either honest or competent.

In the main stream media, news about the manipulation of climate data has been almost null. In the US only FOX News dedicates a small part of its shows to talk about the e-mails and documents. Other media like CNN still continue to call man-made global warming skeptics conspiracy theorists as they are equated to holocaust deniers. News coverage on what is now called Climategate comes mainly from alternative news media and European media, more particularly from newspapers like the Telegraph, the Daily Express and the UK Mail. In the US the New York Times has been the main voice, however, the paper whitewashes the scandal by filling their articles with statements suggesting the found documents do not change anything and that Cap and Trade should advance business as usual. A CBS News report concedes that, "The leaked files show that prominent scientists were so wedded to theories of man-made global warming that they ridiculed dissenters who asked for copies of their data, plotted how to keep researchers who reached different conclusions from publishing, and concealed apparently buggy computer code from being disclosed under the Freedom of Information law. "

Why do they want to enforce the laws based on manipulated and flawed science?

Documents from organizations like the Royal Society, the European Union, the Club of Rome, the Trilateral Commission, the Bilderberg Group, the Council on Foreign Relations, and the White House -all of them open to public scrutiny- reveal a concerted effort by these organizations and the United Nations to establish a Global Entity which will govern above and beyond the powers of the nation states. This Entity will be fully financed by the trillions of dollars in taxes which governments will be required to charge their citizens through the adoption of the Copenhagen Treaty. This treaty will officially legalize the creation of the Global Authority that will not only take care of "saving the planet", but also of the financial and political affairs.

One of the most important goals of the Copenhagen Treaty is to avoid that third world nations develop by bribing their politicians and populations with billions of dollars sent to them by the industrialized nations as payment for their past emissions. At the same time, developed countries will have to reduce industrial production in order to curb CO2 emissions. This two facts will turn backwards the wheels of development on a planetary level, and the result will be a world that will slowly and painfully go back to a medieval state of affairs, with limited resources like food and water, available land for crops to feed the population, reduced medical care, and complete dependence on a centralized global government. All these will be potentially achieved under the excuse of conservation and environmentalism. What most people do not know, is that behind today´s environmentalism and conservation policies lie a series of initiatives for population reduction, -up to 80%- unlimited centralized global government, limits in access to water and food as explained in White House Memo 200, and a nutritional tyranny which seeks to ban natural foods and/or alternative medicine to enslave the world more into the fascist medical corporatism we experience today. Just as it happened for the past three decades in what respects to global warming, the bribed scientists as well as the globalists who financed them with tax payer´s money and the resources they themselves owned, are counting on the public to continue not caring or simply to blindly believe them. It is only through bombshells like the leaked e-mails and documents how most people are going to be able to awaken and to demand profound investigations of anthropogenic global warming -wrongfully labeled climate change- as well as others of similar importance. Just as the documents prove the science behind global warming is not settled -in fact it is far from it- and that is too early to say there is consensus, it seems there needs to be a tighter review of what is defined as truth and what is not. The key word seems to be Accountability.
