This month's issue covers many Bordeaux, Australian Shiraz and Southern Red Rhone wines that were scored in February by the wine critics.

The 2005 Mount Eden, Chardonnay Santa Cruz Mountains Estate received an average score of 96 points and at $43 it is 26% of the average cost of a similar scoring West Coast Chardonnay earning it a "Great Value" moniker. The 2006 Château Pavie, Bordeaux St.-Emilion received an average score of 96 and at $240 it is 42% of the average $578 cost of a similar scoring Bordeaux.

At the value end, at $12, the 2006 Château de Saint-Cosme, Rhône Red Blend Côtes du Rhône received an average score of 90 points and is 36% of the average $33 cost of a similar scoring Southern Red Rhone.
