Alarm off
Darkness
Small black switch
Concealed
Bottom left
No match
Hand's well traind
5:30 reflexive
Millions over
Same gesture
It's symmetry
Shit?
Shower?
Make coffee?
Feed the pets
The kids
Your -
Hell
Got to go
Drive
Back to -
Monotony
Where I came from
Fighting traffic
Wingless pismires
Going nowhere
Day bleeding
Into others
Darkness
Alarm on

Post a CommentReally captures the sense of "same". Good read.
Ugh, I hate thinking about the misery of routine. You really nailed my feelings on this topic. Excellent work. :)
Yup I'll die 1st! Great work
Sounds like a workday routine. I'm about to come out of retirement by taking a full time job as a mentor working with mental health clients. Heck, I don't even know why I want to ruin my life by taking a job!
This is so true. The 'Earth Tasks' are monotonous but you have elevated them to fine rhythm and tempo.
Routine is good, sometimes...great poem, thanks!
Wow, the short lines really gave a marching rhythm to the poem which helped set the 'humdrum' tone. Great job.
Beautiful! and so well written.
So many of us go through this day in and day out. This is one of the reasons why I break the monotony when I can and embrace spontaneity. You captured it well. I could see you doing a series of poems on such things.
LoL...sorry, I had to laugh...Mon-Friday drives me crazy with routine!
