Saucy Dogs

S. A. Knight
Mardi Gras in New Orleans should be listed as one of the wonders of the world. It is unique and is something everyone should experience. This is a food that can be prepared in advance and then packed for eating on the go while enjoying the parades and walking through the City.

Saucy Dogs

This is one of those recipes that you make flying by the seat of your pants but it is difficult to mess it up. All the ingredients are estimates.

Hot dogs (2 packs wieners or frankfurters)

8 to 12 oz Cheddar Cheese (shredded)

1 Onion (Chopped well)

2 or 3 tablespoons Mustard (or to taste)

Pickle relish (to taste)

Worcestershire sauce (or to taste)

Tomato soup 1 can

Hot dog buns

Prepare: Mix all ingredients together and put on the hot dogs that you make with the wieners and buns. Wrap each sauce filled hot dog in foil and bake at 350 degrees for 15 or 20 minutes.

Pack these in your cooler or food basket and enjoy on the go.
