Margie and Luke Freak Out at Latest Amazing Race Pit Stop

Reality Rehash
The last Amazing Race featured a non-elimination leg after the stupidest team in history: Mark and Mike, once again broke the rules and endured a four hour penalty. There is little hope they'll stay around for the next episode but if they do then hey, maybe I'll take back calling them stupid. After finishing first yet again, Margie and Luke were off first. Heading from Bangkok, Thailand to Guilin, China. There they had to find a hair salon for their next clue. Luke was glad to stay in a non-English country as to be equal with the rest, but it still seems there are some English speakers. They were able to get a rather early flight where they hoped they would be the only ones. Jaime/Cara were on their tails though as were Tammy/Victor. They were glad to be going to China as they are Chinese and Tammy was actually there, giving them a leg up.

In the end Margie/Luke were off alone while Jaime/Cara and Victor/Tammy flew together. That left Jen/Kisha and Mark/Mike still in Thailand but thanks to their delay the two guys were alone. It seems this is an old school episode with airport drama, but I guess one out of how many so far isn't that bad. At the connection to Guilin, China it seemed the flight was delayed which allowed all teams besides Mark/Mike to catch up. Jen/Kisha were able to pass the others thanks to a delay, allowing them to go from almost out to first. In China the sisters arrived before the others but Tammy/Victor hoped to use their language to their advantage. In the morning the teams were off to find their hair salon and Kisha/Jen wasted time by asking for directions. That allowed many teams pass them with Jaime/Cara arriving first. They were then told to find their next clue at #24 bridge, sending them on yet another wild goose chase in China.

It was then time for Tammy/Victor to find their clue and while the girls freaked out they were able to pass them. After passing Kisha/Jen on foot, Margie and Luke knew they were somewhat safe but the sisters decided to follow them. It's the start of a battle the previews have been promoting and it all began with the first clue box. There both teams walked right past the clue box and spotted the box at the same time. That led Jen and Luke to slam into each other with Luke making the actual push. He checked Jen in the side with his elbow, although he claims she ran into him. Jen fought back by calling Luke a bitch both verbally and through sign language. That's not all the two will do and hopefully the rest are more "dramatic" like the commercials claim.

In the cabs the fight continued as the two complained to their team mates. Margie didn't seem to care that much, well not as much as you would think. As they complained Tammy and Victor arrived at the Road Block. One of them had to train a bird to catch 10 fish, which sounds crazier then you would think. Tammy took the task while Cara/Jaime arrived and screamed at their boat driver to GO! They of course screamed in English, so they wouldn't understand anyway. Finally in China Mark/Mike had trouble finding the salon, that's all we really saw of them. It was back to fighting though as Luke pushed Jen yet again. He still claimed that he did nothing wrong, and this time Margie yelled. Jesus these people have no clue what they're doing and think others are their problem!

Out in the water the teams began teacher their birds. None of them had any luck to start but Tammy used her Chinese to tell the duck what to do. Because apparently ducks only know Chinese. Maybe yelling at the fish would actually help Jaime this time! Back at Mark and Mike it was time for their Speed Bump. To keep going they had to shampoo, wash and dry two old ladies' hair. They had some help though and it was rather simple but the guys got it done and moved on. Still hours behind. Back at the Road Block Luke was bit by a duck which others laughed at, serves him right though. Jaime and Jen were able to finish their duck fishing rather quickly, passing Tammy who was there first. Jen/Kisha were then back in the lead and headed to the South Gate for yet another clue. They blamed Luke's duck bite on karma and you know, I agree!

Jaime/Cara were then off to the South Gate and thanks to new perspective from their taxi driver they were speeding faster then before. Luke then finished the Road Block, leaving Tammy/Luke still fishing. Their birds flew away though, which wasn't much help and put the two in possible last in their homeland. Well other then being in front of Mark/Mike that is. Seems like Luke/Margie were behind them though as their taxi wasn't moving. That made Luke/Margie now in the somewhat last place, meaning no battle for this clue at least since Jen/Kisha were so far ahead. Tammy better watch out this time!

At the South Ancient Gate Jen finally got a clue without being pushed into it. Their Detour was to either Dance with the old people in front of judges or Calligraphy where they had to copy four Chinese characters which led them to their next station. Jen/Kisha chose the calligraphy while Jaime/Cara chose dancing, thanks to the cheerleading background. Also somewhat obvious were the remainder choices as Margie/Luke and Tammy/Victor also chose the calligraphy. Back at the fishing Road Block the brothers finally arrived, yeah they aren't staying in this game much longer. Back at the Detour Jaime/Cara chose a couple and learned the dance. They seemed to relate the steps to more modern dances but over at the writing Detour Margie/Luke and Kisha/Jen had to stay somewhat civil. Tammy/Victor didn't have much of an advantage at this one though, apparently they didn't pay attention in Chinese school.

Their language did help in reading the symbols though as they ran, along with Kisha/Jen to their next location. Back at the dance Jaime/Cara danced away and ran into fellow dancers during their judging time. They didn't pass their first time around and were laughed at by the locals, which they didn't like too much. The other teams basically stuck with Tammy/Victor, thanks to their speaking skills, keeping the calligraphy Road Block all rather close. After finishing yet another Jaime finally freaked out. She asked the judges to speak English, which they didn't, setting her off. She didn't understand what was wrong but it was obvious, their timing with the music was way off. The two then made the move of switching tasks, thanks to the non-English judges but then back again as they tried one more time to get the dance right.

Back at the other three Tammy/Victor finished first and were told to travel by foot to their next Pit Stop. Margie/Luke and Kisha/Jen followed directly behind pitting the rivals to a foot race. In the end it came down to who was fasted as Kisha/Jen jumped on the mat first. Tammy/Victor came in second while Margie/Luke came in third but all were seconds behind each other so first wasn't that great a deal. Phil then pulled a Jeff and started asking questions. Luke brought up being "pushed" and called a bitch and didn't like being told he was wrong. Margie then freaked out when Kisha/Jen laughed about the situation. Luke took it as them laughing at him being deaf, which wasn't the case and Margie and exploded. Phil had Kisha/Jen's back and the mother/son freaked out again and again still thinking they were right. They were wrong, unlike Jaime/Cara who finally got the dance right and checked in fourth. Mark/Mike then did the dance at well and obviously came in last place. It's about time the rule breakers go, if they broke any thing time they didn't say. I wouldn't doubt it if they did though.
