Mariah Carey No Need for Apologies

Mary E. Coe
Mariah Carey felt the need to come forward and apologize to her fans and the Jackson family after singing at Michael Jackson's Memorial Service.

She didn't think she did a good job. She felt she let everyone down. Far from true, Mariah; you did a fantastic job; your singing was very touching and heartfelt.

Believe me, we saw that your emotions were overflowing. I don't know how you and the other performers kept it together so well. Your singing was excellent and beautiful and done with so much feelings. Straight from the heart.

It must have been a lot of pressure being the first to perform at MJ's Memorial Service; especially performing right above the casket, knowing someone you loved and cared for was inside. Emotions were running high from everyone. However, the entire service was perfect.

It was a moment when the Jackson family went to Usher's side to comfort him after he performed. It was heartrending to see Jermaine Jackson perform through all that pain; but, he did an excellent job.

You and all the performers pulled it off with flying colors. No need for apologies, Mariah, you did a beautiful job.

It was moving and so brave when the Jackson's went on stage to join in the singing of "We Are The World" and "Heal The World."

Little Paris Jackson stole the hearts of the world, the whole world cried with her. I believe that speaking at her father's memorial services was very important to her, something she needed to do. And her family was right there at her side to comfort her.

It was a beautiful service and one that will be long remembered.

This memorial made me wish I had TV so I could have watched it Live. Good reporting.

I commend everyone who performed for being able to despite all their emotions.
