Mariah Carey's pregnancy is confirmed, as reported at People. "Yes, we are pregnant. This is true," said Carey. The 40-year-old Pop/R&B singer is married to the 30-year-old actor and comedian Nick Cannon.

Watching the video, one can guess that Mariah is definitely out of the first trimester. It's probably safe to say the bundle of joy will be due in the next six months. We can also guess that Carey will reveal the due date when she's so big she's ready to burst. "Well, it's still early. We're expecting in the spring," says Carey.

Nick Cannon says the couple doesn't know the sex of their baby

Twenty weeks is approximately 5 months and Carey, if she's telling the truth, is far from five months along. In addition, not every woman gets an ultrasound during her pregnancy, and not every woman wants to know the sex of her baby before the baby is born.
