Maricar Reyes on May Bukas Pa

The Hayden Kho Sex Scandals have come and waned. But for those involved, the issues have not yet passed, as new and newer controversies have emerged.

While the most prominent personalities involved in the scandal are Hayden Kho, actress Katrina Halili, Dr. Vicki Belo, the Brazilian model, and model-turned-actress cum doctor Maricar Reyes, those who got the most brunt were Hayden and Katrina. They were the most publicly humiliated. They were the ones most seen in media.

Although suffering as much shame and humiliation, but still staying in the sidelines and keeping mum about it, the only person who came out the winner was Doctor Maricar Reyes. A respected model turned primetime TV actress and doctor by day, Maricar was lambasted by several camps because of her sexual involvement on video with Hayden. Although many people also defended her, still, she suffered because of it.

But because of her reaction to the issue, which was to keep quiet, Maricar has managed to keep her head high and to regain her composure after the crippling incident. Now, she has more projects than ever, both in modeling and on TV appearances. She even had a stint recently with Santino in May Bukas Pa. She played the role of a wayward girl who lost her lover because of indiscretions. I have not really watched her entire stint because I got busy, but I believe that it got good reviews and her episodes were well-watched.

Anyway, Maricar has everything to thank for with what happened. Her career has gotten rosy after that. She might have suffered through that brief period, however, she managed to get up from the dirt that she had been.
