Marino's Seafood is a Columbus, Ohio, Fish and Chips Restaurant Legend

Marino's Seafood restaurant in the Tri-Village area of Columbus grew out of the ashes of a former Arthur Treacher's over 25 years ago. Known for their quality fish and chips, still made in the Arthur Treacher's tradition, Marino's menu is also home to other seafood specialties, all at very reasonable prices.

Marino's Fish and Chips with Hushpuppies

The core of Marino's seafood offerings is their famous fish and chips. Battered and fried in a Calabash style, the fish comes with thick cut french fries and two hushpuppies. A platter includes either homemade cole slaw or macaroni salad.

The restaurant offers "All You Can Eat" fish and chips Monday through Thursday at dinner time and all day on Saturday. Other fried items on the menu include batter-fried chicken, shrimp, and even a corn dog. The fried items are available in different combos with some of Marino's non-fried seafood items.

Fish and chicken sandwiches are on the menu, and most items are also offered a la carte, which is perfect for sampling something new. Various soups and salads help round out the menu. Marino's family packs are great for larger gatherings, while child combos feed the smaller appetites.

Marino's also offers a host of non-fried seafood items, including baked Mediterranean fish and poached fish. Fridays feature baked fish with crab meat stuffing. Scallops and clam strips are part of both platters and available a la carte.

The fried smelts are especially popular, both by themselves and as part of a platter. Cookies, pecan pie, and other items are offered for dessert. Grains aren't forgotten either, as rice pilaf and linguini are both on the a la carte menu.
