On the February 3 rd 2012 episode of SmackDown, Mark Henry was suspended indefinitely for placing his hands on SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long. The confrontation arose when Long placed Henry in the Elimination Chamber Match. Henry felt he did not deserve to be placed in a Match where he had a one in six shot at becoming the new World Heavyweight Champion. Henry demanded that Long take him out of the Elimination Chamber and give him a World Heavyweight Championship Match later in the night. Long did Henry one better by removing him from the Elimination Chamber and not giving him a World Heavyweight Championship Match. Henry did not like how Long treated him. Henry demanded that Long reconsider by knocking his tie out of his suite. Long was not pleased that Henry placed his hands on him. For that reason Long decided to suspended Henry indefinitely.
Henry has been suspended indefinitely after hardly placing his hands on Theodore Long. This has me wondering if there is another reason behind Henry's suspension. The real reason behind Henry's suspension could be related to his injury. Henry suffered an injury prior to Tables, Ladders, and Chairs (TLC). The injury was so bad that Henry had to lose the Championship at TLC since he was unable to compete. Over the next few weeks Henry was booked in Matches but for whatever reason he never wrestled. Henry finally wrestled a Lumberjack Match on SmackDown before competing in a Steel Cage Match at the Royal Rumble. The WWE or Henry must have felt like Henry was not fully healed. Rather than have Henry show up week after week and not compete they probably thought it was best to send him home for a few weeks. That way Henry could nurse his injury back to one hundred percent. The WWE felt the best way for Henry to get back to one hundred percent was to write him off television by suspending him.
Do you think Henry was suspended because of his injury or is Henry's suspension all part of a story line?

He was injured and sent him home to heal up for a return around wrestlemania
Could be part of the story line.
Great reporting
He knows better than putting his hands on a general manager.
I wonder if the suspension was intentional then? Good stuff friend.
