Marriage

John Hemphill
Whenever you go to a wedding especially in a Church you will sit there if you are not the one getting married and you will hear the preacher say two familiar phrases, "We have come together to see this man and this woman to be joined in the bonds of Holy Matrimony." you will then go through the wedding process and then after teh wedding ceremony is over you will usually hear the preacher will then say, "By the powers invested in me by the state I now pronounce you man and wife."

We live in a time now where people don't know what marriage is and it is important that it is understood by its definition. We live in a time where people are trying to act as if things are worthy of marriage when they are not and the definition of marriage and if you speak out you will be silenced by the media and by parties who do not agree with you even though we live in a nation that guarentees freedom of speech. This is not an attack on any one in particular however this is a topic that must be read and addressed so everybody no matter what you may think or feel will be wiser as we live from day to day.

Marriage is a religious, spiritual, social, and legal union between a man and a woman. If a group of people live together, or have sex together but only fits one, two, or even three of these requirements, they are not married; you must fit all four requirements to be married.

It doesn't matter what is considered socially exceptable; if a relationship doesn't fit all four require requirements no matter what society says, even if 90% of society says it, it is not marriage. For example, there was a time when if a man and woman lived together and slept together that was not socially exceptable; now it is common to see a man and a woman living together and being sexually active together however they still are not married this is why very often if a man lives with a woman that woman if she respects herself will want to get married because it is recognized that simply living together is not a marriage. If the religious definition or spiritual definition of marriage are not satisfied in a relationship then you will not have a marriage.

If a relationship is legally exceptable it is not considered marriage unless that relationship fits all four criteria; all four stages of the definition must be satisified. Please allow me to give an example, there are people in Europe and in the United States who believe that people who are homosexuals should be allowed to be married however I don't care if the government legally makes it exceptable or if it is socially exceptable as well that ambition is impossible because it doesn't fit all four criteria for marriage, you have to have a religious and spiritual union that is satisfied and if the Bible is against it or any religious doctrine of any other faith is against it then it will not satisfy the definition of marriage. In those type of relationships it is obvious that even homosexuals know that marriage is defined by a man and a woman; this is why even in those relationships there is always one person acting like a woman and one person acting like a man; you have to have a woman and a man to have a relationship whether you want to admit it or not.

If you are a man, you are born a man, and being a man is not determined just by how you act, but by your muscle structure, your skeleton and the size of its bones, the degree of your how you carry your balance and equalibrium as well as your nervous system and how you respond to crisis which is automatic; this is why a man who is created in the image of God as a man will never be anything other than a man; this is also why a woman who is born to be a woman will always be a woman. If you ever see a man try to act like a woman this is also why women laugh at them privately, it is because it is obvious that they aren't acting like a woman, it is put on or faked. Likewise when it comes to women when a women tries to act like a man this is why us men look at them like they have taken leave of their senses; becuase it is obvious they are a woman no matter how they look; because of how they act. Marriage is between a man and a woman to make them one before the God who created them and it doesn't matter what the nation things or even what I think. I'll be rather honest here; if something is natural you don't have to fight for it to prove a point both religiously and socially because anyone who looks at the definition will see it is obvious; just like when a woman or man walk down the street; it is obvious what they are.

Marriage is not just a social union, or legal union, it is a religious union; we see it very clearly in Hebrews 13:4 according to Christian doctrine in the Holy Bible. If the doctines of the faith set requirements for what marriage is and who can be married then the only way to truly be married is to fulfill those requirement. If people can not fulfill those requirements then they are not married according to that faith because marriage is a religious union; this is why wedding are opened up by saying; a man and woman are joined together in "HOLY MATRIMONY" and anything else is considered unholy. If a man is married and having sex with a women he is not married to; then he is not just treating her cheaper than what she deserves but he is committing adultry and even though he is in a relationship with her he can not marry her or call it right and this is found in Deuteronomy 22:22 as well as the former punishment that use to fall on those who were guilty of it. If a man and woman are not married yet are living together and are even sexually active that does not constitute as marriage first of all because there is no guarentee that they remain dedicated to ach other legally but also because according to Christian doctrine as well as most doctrines worldwide it is not enough fulfill the requirements; in the Bible we see it in Matthew 15:19 and until it becomes a marraige it is not a marriage.

However in a relationship between a man and a woman at least there are some positives, a man is made to protect a woman and be good to that woman, and a woman is built to produce children which is why here sexualy organs are made to not only allow objects to leave her body but allows objects to enter her body easily as well this is why even when women have children though it may be painful medically a woman's pelvis can expand to give birth however men are not made for such a function. A woman born a woman is a woman; a man born a man is a man no matter what society and people say. At least between a man and a woman a child can be born and a relationship can lead to a future even if it is not a proper one that fits the definition of marriage; but in the case of homosexuality it is a dead end relationship; for a man and a man or a woman with a woman can not make a child; biologically for God did not design humans that way, it doesn't matter whether we believe in the Christian faith or not the biology is evidence of God and such a relation can not produce a child. a homesexual relationship can not fit the definition of marriage, as well as not fitting the definitions of biology. I am a man and I love woman, I personally am straight, I have nothing against homosexuals, but when it comes to homosexuality the Holy Bible condemns homosexuality not once but twice; Leviticus 18:22 and dedicated a whole chapter to show how God doesn't like it and finds it distasteful, such a it doesn't fit the requirements of marriage no matter what agendas may want it to.

It is also important to mention that that when a man and woman have sex fluids are released to cause them to bond better therefore in a marriage situation a man and woman become one spiritually. According to the website: http://www.oxytocin.org/oxytoc/love-science.html and http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-1107642/How-love-drug-hormone-released-childbirth-help-remember-strangers-faces.html tells us that women have sex they release a chemical called Oxytocin is released when a woman is with a man which helps woman cling to the men they have sex with and it is also released when they have children so they they are connected and protect their own children in almost every case. Marriage is a spiritual union due to sexual contact; and as a result no other relationship other than that which is between a man and a woman is even close to being capable of fulfilling the definition of marriage; any other relationship is a counterfeit.

This definition is not hate, it is not bias, it is a definition and every word in our language has a definition that is not determined by whatever we feel when ever we want; if that is the case then the English language or any other language need not have a dictionary and the majority of people will always know it deep down inside.

In a wedding we hear these words; "We have come to see this woman and man be joined in in the bonds of holy matrimony," and no government can declare what is holy; only God can do that so the only way you can have a true marriage is if you fulfill the requirements of marriage that God has set down; since the United States has the Freedom of Religion then the religion alone can be the only one's to define marriage correctly; anything else is technically unconstitutional and multiculturally wrong.
