Marriage Love Poem - Summer

JUNEANN REED
Take my hand, my dear
Hold it in your own,
Then squeeze it tightly up and down
We've lived through times renown.

Look into my blue, blue eyes
And see the love I share,
At this time it's you for me
I truly want you here.

Stand beside me straight and tall
I need your touch and love,
We'll walk side by side
And look to God above.

Summer's rays surround our love
The flowers scent the air,
The full moon brightly glows
Lighting our paths to somewhere.

The fall of our lives is upon us both
But so far we've had great times,
We've loved, laughed and even cried
We'll hope things go just fine.

This summer day I say "I do"
In front of family and friends,
Take my hand, my dear, I ask
As we ask God's guidance through crooks and bends.
