3 TBSP Butter
1 Pkg. Mini Marshmallows
3 to 4 drops Assorted Colors of Food coloring
6 cups Crisp Rice Cereal
Frozen Assorted Candies
n/a Assorted Colored Cellophane

Directions for Marshmallow Crispy Eggs

Make Marshmallow Mixture
WASH HANDS then In a large saucepan melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.

Add Cereal
Slowly add the crisp rice cereal to the marshmallow mixture, and stir until well coated.

Shape
Working quickly so mixture doesn't cool, shape into egg shaped ovals, or any shape you wish.

Add the details
Press candies into eggs, or make swirls and stripes out of melted white or dark chocolate. This is where your imagination comes in. Decorate to your own specifications.

Store
Wrap in colored cellophane, and share with friends and family or store in an air tight container.
Tip
Any kind of crisp rice cereal will work. You can use an air tight container instead of colored cellophane. This recipe is so adjustable, it's great for any occasion. Decorate with ingredients that fit the occasion. Cake decorating items make this recipe fast,easy,and fun for the entire family. When shaping, lightly spray hands with cooking spray so mixture doesn't stick.
