Martin Luther King, Jr "I Have a Dream" Lives on Forever

Martin Luther King, Jr was the leader of the civil rights and an American Clergyman. He was a prominent leader for civil rights. In the United States and all over the world he is known as a perfect leader. He always used the nonviolent method in his leadership. He followed Mahatma Gandhi as his idol.

Martin Luther King, Jr was born January 15, 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was a Baptist minister and civil rights activist. Which he achieved early in his life. In 1964, he received the Nobel Peace Prize and was the youngest person to receive it at that time. In modern American liberation, Martin Luther King, Jr was represented as a heroic leader. His focus was on ending poverty and stopping the Vietnam War. He gave all his effort to this until his death. In 1986, he established the U.S. federal holiday.

In 1955, Martin Luther King, Jr led the Montgomery Bus Boycott and in 1957, he founded the Christian Leadership Conference. He served as their first president. He gave his famous speech "I Have a Dream" in 1963 during the March on Washington. He was the greatest man as a heroic leader in American society and all over the world.

Martin Luther King, Jr came from a middle class family. His father was Baptist Preacher. After visiting Europe and Germany, his parents changed his name from Michael King to Martin Luther King. His father named his son after Martin Luther who was a German Protestant Leader. Martin Luther King, Jr was the middle son in his family.

His work and what he stood for will never be forgot and his memory will live on in the heart of those who believed in what he stood for and what he accomplished.

Martin Luther King, Jr died April 4, 1968. He was a genuine leader of civil rights and he continued his work until his death.
