In the words of Shashank Srivastava, Maruti Suzuki India Chief General Manager (Marketing), "In the month of January, the company accounted a high sales and is expecting further increase in sales this February."
The demand for the Maruti Suzuki car models are increasing and the waiting list period is the clear evidence .To meet the growing demands, the company has also increased the its production capacity
Currently, the car manufacturer has 600 dealers across the country and is planning to expand to 1000 dealerships in a period of two to three years. Already well established in the market, Maruti Suzuki will further strengthen its position in the Indian car market.Taking a look at its export sales, in the period between January-March, the company received export order for about 23,000 units of its latest model A-Star. Since its launch, the global car has exported 9,000 units.
