Mary Tyler Moore and Betty White will be performing together again. This dynamic duo got together in the television sitcom, "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" with a spinoff show starring Betty White. Now Moore and White will both appear in the season premiere of "Hot in Cleveland."

The pair hasn't acted together since "The Mary Tyler Moore" show in 1977. Thirty-three years later, Moore and White will team up for another sitcom appearance. Season one of "Hot in Cleveland" was successful. They were commissioned for a second season of 20 episodes.

"Hot in Cleveland" follows three entertainment industry characters from Los Angeles who wind up in Cleveland when their plane bound for Paris lands in Ohio. The group is greeted by a welcoming community with a less pretentious environment than Los Angeles.

Other stars of "Hot in Cleveland" include Valerie Bertinelli, Wendie Malick and Jane Leeves. Betty White is the landlady to these three best buds from L.A. The sitcom returns to TV Land on January 19, 2011 at 10 PM ET.

Over three decade ago on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show", Moore played Mary Richards, an assistant news producer at a television station. White played Sue Ann Nivens, the competitive host of a homemaking show on the same television network. Contact Music reports the "Hot in Cleveland" episode was filmed in the same studio where the "Mary Tyler Moore Show" was taped years ago.

According to PopCrunch, the comedy will pick up where it left off during the first season. Landlady Elka was arrested for valuable found in her storm cellar. Her tenants were trying to free her and it is rumored Moore's role might involve freeing White. At this time, Mary Tyler Moore's role in "Hot in Cleveland" remains a mystery.
