Maryland Man Already Has New "Potter" Book

A man in Anne-Arundel County in Maryland says he already has his copy of the new Harry Potter book that is supposed to be released on July 21^st.

Jon Hopkins, 25, says that he ordered his copy of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" last month from the website DeepDiscount.com. On Friday he was informed by e-mail that the book had shipped and it arrived at his door on Tuesday, four days before the book was supposed to be released.

Scholastic was very surprised that the book had been shipped so early. They have gone to unprecedented lengths to keep the contents of the new Harry Potter book a secret until it is officially released.

Just yesterday pictures that appeared to resemble the new Harry Potter book were released on the internet. These photos contained what is said to be every page of the new book.

It is not known if these pictures are the real book or not, but Scholastic has subpoenaed several websites in order to have them take down the offending content.

There are said to be several different versions of the leaked book but this cannot be confirmed. The one leak that is being presented as a real copy of the book is over 700 pages in length and shows the same typeface that is used in the other Harry Potter books.

The photos of this book are somewhat blurry, but the ending, and the fate of the main character, Harry Potter, are clearly visible.

"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" is one of the most anticipated books of all time. 12 million copies have been ordered in the books first printing run, and many million more will be printed over life of the book.

This book is the seventh and final chapter in the tale of a boy wizard named Harry Potter and his and his classmates adventures at the Hogwart's School of Wizardy.

The book is said to include the death of a main character and that has only added to the anticipation of the book. The main speculation is on whether or not the main character will die by the end of the book.

The Harry Potter book series, by English author JK Rowling, is one of the best selling book series of all-time and probably the best selling children's book series ever and the opening week of the fifth Harry Potter movie grossed over $100 million.
