Mary's Thanksgiving Cranberry Sauce

Mary Wensing Dvorachek
1 bag of cranberries (wash and go through them and pick out the bad ones)

1 cup of sugar

1/4 c. water

8 to 10 large marshmallows

Put the cranberries, sugar and water in a medium size kettle, bring to a boil, stirring often until all the cranberries have popped.

Add the marshmallows and stir until they have melted.

Pour the cranberries into your blender, put a potholder over the cover and hold down tight with one hand and put on puree until all cranberry bits have been pureed.

Pour into a fancy dish or mold for the holidays.

Refrigerate until ready to use. If using a mold loosen around the edges with a knife, and dip the bottom in hot water just till the cranberry sauce softens a bit so it comes out of the mold. Put a plate over the bottom and tip it over. The cranberry sauce should slide right out.

Enjoy

Marshmallows with cranberries?? What an interesting idea. I bet that really takes away the tartness of the cranberries.
