Marzetti Salad Dressing Review - Light Honey Mustard

Shawna Straub

As a picky consumer in the middle of losing 100 lbs. I look for every excuse to try a "light" type of product that may actually taste like the real thing. I was extremely pleased to find a light Honey Mustard salad dressing that truly delivered. Marzetti Light Honey Mustard was a fantastic and flavorful dressing for my usually blah salad. I didn't feel like I was saving calories but I'm absolutely grateful that I did. Marzetti has found a new customer with this light dressing and I've found some different ways to dress up some old standbys as well.

#1 '" Use the dressing as a marinade for your chicken and grill it up. Add a little bit of pepper and lime juice and the sweet and tangy taste of the dressing with the bite from the lime will make your chicken sizzle instead of drizzle.

#2 '" Mix up the dressing with your microwaveable veggies in a bag. One of my favorites was cauliflower and broccoli with the dressing so it's zippy but doesn't add the calories that melted cheese would.

#3 '" Use the dressing as a dip for your grilled seafood. It's especially yummy on shrimp or scallops. Much better than dousing them with melted butter! Crab and Lobster would be a great choice as well.

#4 '" Use the dressing in lieu of sour cream on your baked potato. A lighter choice with a tangy mustard backing and no need for butter either! It's a nice change from using a low calorie ranch option and very summery flavor.

#5 '" This dressing is great as a raw veggie dip as well. I mixed it with a regular onion dip and found a tangy onion choice that looked really creamy and spiced up a boring veggie platter.

There are so many options with this Marzetti dressing I can't wait to try more flavors and find some low calories options that continue to tantalize my taste buds instead of putting them to sleep! There are so many different ways to enjoy this dressing I can't list them all but if you look up any recipes online that contain honey mustard dressing you'll be able to increase your flavor and lower your calories with this incredible dressing. Don't forget to buy an extra bottle because once you get hooked on the lighter option you'll keep going back for more!

Never tried the Light Honey, but I have used the Marzetti Italian for my sphaghetti salads. it is the best dressing.
