A face is a mask

That everyone wears

One of gentleness

Or kindness

The face of a saint,

But always hiding secrets.

Whether they be

Innocent, or charming,

Vulgar, or damning

They are still a mask

Some masks may be

Transparent as glass

But they are still worn.

Never to be taken off.

    Very well written, and sometimes the mask that is seen by others is not the same mask seen by the one wearing the mask in the mirror.

    You write very well I hope you will continue to practice writing, I believe you can do very well writing.
