A face is a mask
That everyone wears
One of gentleness
Or kindness
The face of a saint,
But always hiding secrets.
Whether they be
Innocent, or charming,
Vulgar, or damning
They are still a mask
Some masks may be
Transparent as glass
But they are still worn.
Never to be taken off.
