A Wonderfully Delicious Restaurant in Mason, Ohio

I am so glad I had a recent Cincinnati Business Connections (CBC ) networking dinner at Cafe Bella. It was fantastic. The restaurant has an intimate feel with soothing colors painted on the wall and a nicely decorated interior. On one side is the bar area with some seating. It is a perfect place to have a drink and enjoy an appetizer - if you arrive for their nightly happy hour, you'll find some great drink and appetizer specials.

On the right side of the restaurant, is a slightly larger dining area and this is where my eight dinner companions and I sat. The server we had was outstanding - he was very helpful and attentive without going overboard. He even offered to do separate checks for nine women and was happy to do it. The food was delicious - very fresh and flavorful ("inspired by the Mediterranean lifestyle"). They provided tasty fresh baked bread with olive oil for dipping. We had a variety of meals from soups and salads to pastas and fish dishes. We all really enjoyed our meals. I had the Don Corleone salad - "a classic Sicilian salad with potato, green beans, black olives, red onion and boiled egg" ($6.95). It was fresh and crisp and I even had enough to take home for lunch the next day. I paired it with a bowl of their lobster bisque ($4.95). It made for an excellent meal without breaking the budget.

We even met, Bella, the owner who was so gracious. So, please consider Cafe Bella for your next dinner out - I think you will find it will be worth your while. They also offer a family-friendly kids menu, take out services, a special "Winesday" and nightly happy hour. Cafe Bella is located at 5984 Snider Rd., Mason, Ohio 45040. (513-770-4141).

Description of the Don Corleone salad is from Cafe Bella's menu.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience. When I visited, the food and service were great. The restaurant world definitely is in constant flux.

I recently dined at Cafe Bella on Wed Aug 26. Service was TERRIBLE! Food was fair but severely overpriced. Seems that more employees need hired. Too much for one server to handle.
