Massachusetts Kayak Fishing: Sandy Neck at Barnstable, Cape Cod

The Shoals East of the Beach Hold Striped Bass, Bluefish and Bluefin Tuna from May to October

Dave Williams
Our upwind leg out of Barnstable Harbor, on Cape Cod, will take us past Sandy Neck and finally over the vast shand shoals which spread away from Barnstable and Sandwich like flattened cake. The shoals attract baitfish. And where there are baitfish on Cape Cod, there are striped bass, bluefish and bluefin tuna.
