Massachusetts Passes Bill Legalizing Gambling; Two Casinos & 3,000 Slot Machines Invade Bay State
Hit Me or Bust - Casino Resorts Coming to the Bay State
This means that residents of Massachusetts will no longer have to drive over two hours to Foxwoods casino in Mashantucket, Conn. While casinos have had a history of bringing an increase of crime; however they also present many positives for the community.
The two Massachusetts casinos are sure to make a plethora of jobs and have a huge impact for the surrounding community. With unprecedented unemployment rates, anything that brings jobs to the Bay State is a good thing. The state will reap in the benefits of having casinos in Massachusetts through an increase of tax revenue. In a troubled economy any additional funds that add to the state's overall budget clearly outweigh the negatives.
The addition of two casinos in Massachusetts will most likely lead to an increase of concert and Broadway productions in the area - a definite plus for any arts & entertainment buff. With Massachusetts already becoming a center for movie studios and production in Plymouth (see plymouthrockstudios.com), the addition of casinos in Massachusetts could make the Bay State a target destination for aspiring entertainers and actors.
Another benefit to legalizing gambling and building two casinos in Massachusetts is the fact that Mass. residents will not be spending their money in another state. Depending on their locations, tourists from other states might travel to Massachusetts to play at the casinos.
How do you feel about the bill legalizing gambling and to build two casinos in Massachusetts?
Will the addition of casinos in Massachusetts make you happy, or leave you broke and depressed?

Post a CommentHow to Make everyone a winner at the new Casinos! How? By creating a gambling account required for anyone who gambles at the Casinos. So when one places a bet or plays a slot machine, each bet is matched with the same amount by the better, into their account, A one dollar bet requires one dollar into your account, a two dollar bet requires 2 dollars into your account, and so on and so forth. The Casino holds the money in your account, until your balance reaches $5,000. at which point you can take your money out, and do with it what you please.......any winnings, you can take at any time, or redeposit it in your account to build it to $5,000. Once you take out your $5,000. you are required to start a new account to place another bet. With this everyone wins! The Casino holds in use, Billions of dollars, and you always have money to play with spend, pay bills or whatever. This amount can be adjusted higher or lower if need be by the casino. Lets be winners! signed... Capt. BlackStrapp Molasses Honeycutt. or [Jerry the Dancing Pirate with Larry Swain] on youtube
Here in Milwaukee it brought about a high incident of social problems. This is not gambling for fun but betting the last dollar for the rent, then stealing the next roll for the next roll of the dice.
I am unequivocally opposed to the approval of casinos and/or slot machines in Massachusetts. The negatives for outway any benefits. They attract criminal elements and have long term adverse financial and social impacts.
Last time I was in the US with my Thai boyfriend we went to two casinos. He won $6,000 in one and %4,500 in the second. Me? I lost $900, LOL.
Anything for a buck... even in the Bay State.
I'm not a huge fan of gambling but it will be interesting to see how this plays out.
