Mat Hoffman Condor BMX Bike Review

Jill McAllister
When our son came to us to say he wanted to get into BMX we did a lot of research on bikes. We finally came to the conclusion that Mat Hoffman's Condor ECD BMX bike was the right fit for our son. We went to all the local bike shops and the BMX superstore here in town when we finally decided to order one online. You can find all Hoffman's bikes and products here at hoffmanbikes.com and find a local dealer near you at hoffmanbikes.com.

This bike is based on Mat Hoffman's frame design, it offers Pro level bike design at a affordable price and it weighs only 27 pounds.

When we ordered it off the Internet and it came in a huge box, in pieces and it did not take long to arrive in the mail when we ordered it. Rather than assembling it ourselves, we simply took it to the local bike shop and had the mechanic put it together for us so we were sure it was put together properly. It was very affordable to have them do this. He only had the bike a few hours.

Our son uses it to jump ramps, doing tricks in the street and he also uses it at local skate parks and it has held up to some tough landings and crashes.

This bike comes with 8" rise HB handlebars, 3-piece chromo tubular cranks and detangler. Great for use on trails, street riding and skate parks. It also came with a gyro handlebar.

This bike retails for around $270 before shipping. I highly recommend this bike for anyone. Our son could not be happier with it and is never away from it for too long. I have never seen him on a bike so much before he got this bike and he's learning a lot of tricks and this bike is holding up to everything he throws at it. I think it was well worth the money we spent.
