The first grey hair
Years ago when I started seeing the first grey hair, my reaction was just like most everyone's - I did not want grey hair! My first attempts to color my own hair at home were disastrous. It was black! Then I decided to bleach my hair. It was red! Every few years I would do this routine again just to remind myself that it did not work. In a mid-life crisis (about 50) I asked my hairdresser to color the grey. After a period of time it was black again! I was not enjoying spending my Saturday's at the salon and it was also expensive. "Enough", I said, "It will just have to be grey!" One more time we went through the lengthy process of cutting my hair off and letting the color grow out. This was the final time.
A different shampoo
I never gave much thought to the shampoo I used; usually purchasing a cheaper brand at the grocery store. While getting my hair trimmed one day, I mentioned how my grey was "mousy" color and dull. My hairdresser suggested I try one of her shampoos to see if I liked it. It was not too expensive (about mid range in cost as salon products go), so I took home a bottle of Matrix Essentials So Silver. She had explained to me how hair will absorb contaminates such as cooking oils or smoke and grey, blond or bleached hair will show brassy tones as a result. This Matrix Essentials So Silver was designed specifically to rid the hair of these external contaminates. It neutralizes the unwanted brassy tones and enhances the natural highlights of blond, frosted or bleached hair. It eliminates dulling tones and adds shimmering brightness to grey and white hair.
After a few days of using Matrix Essentials So Silver I even stopped using a creme rinse, thus eliminating an additional expense. The creme rinse was no longer necessary. My hair is soft and supple after shampooing. This shampoo is really wonderful. For maximum benefit the shampoo can be left on the hair for 3 to 5 minutes and I know some men that could benefit by using Matrix Essentials So Silver on yellowed mustaches and stained beards.
Matrix, Essentials, So Silver shampoo is made in the U.S.A. and only sold through salon outlets. Contact your salon today and allow your natural beauty to be seen by the world.

I found your review very well written. I do not have blonde hair rather than gray. I am hoping that it will have the same result. We will have to see!
Great review and I like that you included a photo. Nice job!
Good to know!
What a great review. I also found the explanation helpful. (I'll let my gray husband know.)
Great review! I hope this product is still around when my hair goes gray. I already have stray grays here and there, but not enough to worry about it yet. :-)
I liked your review. I printed it for future reference. I am testing a new shampoo for myself and will ask you write my review when I complete my test, if you would consider doing so. You have such a nice way with words.
