Are Matt Kemp and Rihanna dating? If photos that surfaced during the past couple of days are any indication, it appears as if the LA Dodgers and singer are an item. Rihanna is finally moving on from the tragedy that was her relationship with Chris Brown.

As many people remember, Chris Brown assaulted Rihanna before the Grammy's. The incident opened up a very important dialog about domestic violence, and Rihanna transitioned in to an unofficial spokeswoman against such violence. She was even featured on 20/20 to discuss the issues that she had with her relationship with her ex-boyfriend. Brown has also made several appearances and even publicly apologized for the whole situation.

The domestic violence that the singer experienced was brought up again when she was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live one weekend in early December. It was shortly after the Tiger Woods scandal broke, and everyone was saying that Tiger and Elin had a domestic violence altercation. The rumor was that Elin beat Tiger with a 9 iron and busted the window out of his SUV. The SNL skit that week highlighted the rumor, and many thought that the skit was way out of hand and made light of a very important and sensitive subject.

Rihanna and Matt Kemp were seen living it up in Cabo San Lucas over the holiday break. It is said that they are madly in love and that they are inseparable. They also both have very busy schedules, so they enjoyed having the time to hang out together and just relax and unwind as a couple.

The days of violence are over for Rihanna. She was seen embracing Matt Kemp in Mexico, where the two were seen having a romantic time.

Other celebrity couples in the news include Russell Brand and Katy Perry, who got engaged after being blessed by a Love Guru in India. Vince Vaughn and Canadian Realtor Kyla Weber tied the knot last Saturday, as did Jason Castro and his long time girlfriend Mandy Mayhall.

Castro was the 4^th place finalist during season 7 of American Idol and plans on kicking off his tour soon. He is said to have proposed to his girlfriend while they were dressed up as Beauty and the Beast for Halloween.

Vince Vaughn and Kyla stay pretty private, and their wedding was no exception. Ever since they started dating, they have avoided the media and paparazzi. Vaughn's former love interests include actress Jennifer Aniston.
