Matthew McConaughey, Camila Alves pregnant: It's everywhere right now, TV, Internet and radio, Matthew McConaughey has posted on his website that he and girlfriend Camila Alves, are expecting a child. He seems pretty ecstatic and ready to start his new chapter in life, and asks his fans to keep him, Camilla and their new baby, 3 months in womb, in their prayers. This will be the first child for Matthew 38 and Camilla 22. Matthew and his Brazilian model girlfriend Camilla have been dating since April 2007 and in 2008 they will be having a child together. I think this is a good thing for McConaughey at 38 years old with no children and no marriage under his belt.

Congratulations are in order for this Hollywood couple whom are excited and anxious of their new expectancy, along with congratulations to so many other celebrities with the same news. This seems to be the new trend in Hollywood, so many pregnancies and so few marriages. Something must be in the water in Hollywood these days because it seems every week we are hearing of a new pregnancy.

The most recent and unbelievable was from 16 year old Jamie Lynn Spears, younger sister of the distraught Brittney Spears, who announced she was 12 weeks with her long time boyfriend Casey Aldridge who is 18 years old. Then there is 26 year old Hollywood actress Jessica Alba who is expecting a baby late spring or early summer this year. What is happening to Hollywood, they all seem to handing in their partying card for diaper bags. Not only are most of these women young pregnant mothers, but they are unwed pregnant mothers, as well.

Not only young unwed female celebrities have announced their pregnancies, there are those few that have been around awhile, such as Halle Berry and Jennifer Lopez. Halle Berry is 41 and expecting her first long awaited child with boyfriend Gabriel Aubry. Jennifer Lopez and Husband Marc Anthony are expecting a child this year.

How could we forget about the new proud parents who had their little bundles of joy over the weekend? Nicole Richie and boyfriend Joel Madden of the rock group Good Charlotte welcome their new baby girl on Friday Jan. 11th and Christina Aguilera and husband Jordan Bratman welcomed their new baby boy on Saturday Jan. 12th.

With so many pregnancies happening in Hollywood right now, how could you not be happy for all those expecting. Having a baby is the best gift ever and no matter if you like or dislike any of the named celebrities, you can be nothing more but happy for them all.
