Maui Adventure

With an elevation of over 10,000 feet, you can only start your day off right with a gorgeous sunrise on the peaks of Haleakala. Suggested time to leave for a sight like this is by leaving at 4 AM in the morning, and bundle up! The drive is long and winding but it's your best bet if you want to watch the sky turn from dusk to brilliant shades of yellow and orange until the sun is in full view. The views of the sunrise against the crater makes it all the more worth the drive and wait in the morning!

You can either let everything go and enjoy the ride or not enjoy what Maui has to offer. Ziplining through the valleys of Maui is not only thrilling but you have the best view of the valleys and beaches of the Kaanapali coast. You start from hiking up the paths and once you reach your destination you are getting hooked on and ready to zip through. It's a rush to say the least and something you won't often get to do!

The road to Hana requires patience, A LOT of patience, especially for those newly weds out there. The road to Hana is famous for its Seven Sacred Pools, breathtaking views, hidden waterfalls and best of all, the black sanded beach. Though it may be a long drive, the experience is worth it. Wainapanapa Black Sanded Beach is a hidden gem, which you may have to ask the locals in case you get lost looking for it (which you probably will). It's a whole other realm as you slip into soft black sand and bake in the warm Maui sun. At the end of the road to Hana you will find the Seven Sacred pools - waterfalls and pools that eventually flow out to the southern part of Maui. Swim through the pools or just bask in the glory of the waterfalls. Though the drive itself may be long and tedious, the scenery will make up for it!

The possibilities are endless, and not just limited to these three things I've just mentioned. Other things you must do is visit Mama's Fish House Restaurant in Paia, get shaved ice (it's delicious!) and guri guri (a cross of sherbert and ice cream), drink Pog's Guava Juice, learn to hula and/or attend a luau, visit Iao Valley, and visit the many beaches of Maui be it around Kihei, Lahaina or the beaches around the road to Hana. Maui has a lot to offer whether you want a relaxing vacation, or a little adventure. No matter what you want to do, there are many things in store on one of the beautiful islands of Hawaii!
