I am me.
Trendiness ain't my passion.
I care not for fashion.
Laughably out of style.
I'm Independent.
Trendiness ain't my passion.
I care not for fashion.
Laughably out of style.
I'm Independent.
I stand alone.
The reeking herd abhors me.
Angry mobs deplore me.
I don't do rank and file.
I am Sovereign.
I have no price.
I don't have to pick a side.
They cannot take my pride.
Their contempt makes me smile.
I'm autonomous.
I am hated.
Non-believers mock my Lord.
Churches bar me at the door.
Both treat me like a child.
I'm a pariah.
I am strong.
I can weather your disdain.
I have lived through REAL pain.
Underneath the dogpile.
I'm a survivor.
I am me.
A man who has paid his dues.
Of many points of view.
Mosaic of many tiles.
I'm a MAVERICK!

Thank you all. Being a true individual isn't easy, but at least you will be able to look in the mirror and not detest what you see. Hannah, I say AMEN to you. Let the HATERS mock our Lord; that don't bother me one bit! Cory, well, you're a LOSER. I deleted your other inane comment from another of my poems, but I just might leave this one up so everyone can see just what a tool you really are!
Too Cool! I'm on God's side, I can't lose!! Afterall, Jesus was the orignal Maverick, He even died for it!
I'm going to kill myself because my dog mauled me for trying to cornhole it!
