Maxine Dear,
The glass is clear,
The vodka too,
But choices are quite another
Which things first,
What shall I do?
So darn hard being a mother!
I string my words together
For the story lover,
Stay up late
And try to rise
While there is still some morning dew!
And I hope they love it all,
As much as I do.
So cozy up my friends,
Circle round,
I'm just warming up,
As I toss another down.
