The Maxx Vehicle Power System that I am using (right now as we speak actually) converts the DC voltage power from my car into AC voltage power to run all my electronics that need to be plugged in.
The best thing about the Maxx Vehicle Power System, aside from its usefulness to convert DC power to AC power, is that it is pretty small, so it is easy to store under a seat. The cost is relatively low as well ($20-$30, depending on where you're looking).
The Maxx Vehicle Power System can be used for a whole array of electronic appliances too. Do you need to charge your cell phone while driving? No problem! Do you need to use your laptop, but the battery is gonna die soon? No problem! Do you need to power a small television? No problem! The Maxx Vehicle Power System can take care of all of these small tasks with ease.
But how does the Maxx Vehicle Power System work? Do you need to plug it in somewhere in the car? Yes. In order to run your Maxx Vehicle Power System you must plug it into your cigarette lighter for power. Once that is done you may try testing it by pushing the power switch which is located on the front near the outlets. Be sure to have your car running while turning on the Maxx Vehicle Power System, otherwise it will not turn on.
There are two outlets on the Maxx Vehicle Power System/s side that is opposite of the side containing the wire that goes into the cigarette lighter in your car. There's also a USB port located right above the right power outlet.
I highly suggest buying this item, even if you only leave it in your car for emergencies. The price is low enough and storage is simply not a problem when it comes to the Maxx Vehicle Power System.
