May 2011 Free Tuesday Night Movies in Grand Junction

Have Dinner and Enjoy a Movie Free!

Sandy James
Whooops! May is here and because I caught the bug, I'm a little bit late in getting the list of the Avalon Theater's line-up for this month on Tuesday evenings. Every Tuesday you can enjoy dinner at a restaurant in Downtown Grand Junction and get two free movie passes to the Avalon Theater for that evening? Just bring your dinner receipt to the Avalon Theater for your two free admissions.

The Avalon Theater is offering classic movies on Tuesday's and you'll find science fiction, comedy, drama, cartoons, and family classics offered in these time slots. There's something for everyone, so plan ahead and take the family out to dinner at a Downtown restaurant, then sit back and enjoy a classic movie free of charge!

For the month of May, here's the lineup of movies that will be playing on Tuesday's. If you don't have a dinner receipt, admission is $5 per person.

Tuesday, May 10: "American Graffiti"; Show starts at 7:15 PM.

Tuesday, May 17: "Pee Wee's Big Adventure"; Show starts at 7:15 PM.

Tuesday, May 24 : "Little Shop of Horrors"; Show starts at 7:15 PM.

Tuesday, May 31: "Bull Durham," Show starts at 7:15 PM.

There's plenty of free parking and please call 970 263-5700 for more information.

Our theater was doing free movies for children in the summer, but they're under new management so not sure what will happen. Great article!
