hiding;
naked, cross legged
behind the spatter-
spotted glass
door of a hilltop
apartment -
smoking
in the late twilight
of an evening.

experiencing not
conversation, not
companionship - experiencing
a life of epiphanal moments
spewing living words
to stone heart, mind
of the dead -

watching
the rhythm of a passing
world, cursing
the solitude
which protects him
from the savagery
of society.
