Maybelline Define-A-Lash Mascara: Does it Really Give You Definition?

Sulli
On a recent shopping trip, I was browsing through the health and beauty isles seeing what was on sale and what new products were out there. Knowing that I needed some new mascara, I made sure to go up and down the make-up isles. On the end of one isle, at my local Wal-Mart store, was a display of brightly colored mascara packages. It said they were buy one get one free, which is what really caught my eye. So I stood there for a moment and read over the packaging. I had remembered seeing this new mascara called Define-A-Lash advertised in the ads of drugs stores in recent weeks. Since I was in need of some mascara, I decided to purchase it.

I have always been a fan of Maybelline products, especially there mascara. The Define-A-Lash mascara is in a tube color like no other. It is a bright lime green color. Very eye catching and fresh looking. The packaging states that the mascara has attributes of zero clumps, clean definition, and stunning length. I have short, light colored eye lashes as it is, so anything that will help define them and make them look longer, I am willing to give it a try.

After getting home, I just had to try my new mascara. I put one of the new tubes on my make up bag and the other in my storage closet. When I pulled out the wand and went to apply the mascara, I noticed something else about this product that was like no other. The brush end of the wand was flexible. It made it a bit easier to apply the make up to the hard to reach areas of your lashed like you outer and inner corners. The brush was also a bright lime green color to match the tube, but this was kind f hard to tell since the darkness of the product had already covered it.

Furhermore, I must say this Define-A-Lash mascara did define my lashes as claimed. It did not produce any clumps, even after to layers were put on. I did not notice it making my lashes look any longer though. I do believe I have found a new favorite though. Especially with a price of $6.48 for two, how can you pass that up? I know this is probably only a promotional deal since it is new and all, but it works for me. It is available if Brownish Black, Soft Black, and Very Black.

I just bought a tube of L'Oreal telescopic and I wish I hadn't. when I bought it I was trying to decide between the one I got and Maybeline's define-a-lash. I should have gone with maybeline. I hate the brush telescopic has. it looked like it would be a good one but when I put it on it adds a TON of mascara to my eyelashes so bad that my eye was a gooey mess. I actually have to scrape some of it off the brush before I apply it.

Great- it will be easy to pick out with that info that it's in a bright green tube.
