McCafe: McDonald's Cappuccino Review: North Oklahoma City
I stopped around 2:00 PM at McDonald's East of Quail Springs Mall. I chose this location since it's an affluent commercial district with some of my favorite restaurants.
As I entered, I noticed only three cars in the parking lot and a few cars in the drive-through. I thought this is a breeze. No waiting in line and no mixed-up orders.
No other customers were inside. I ordered a Cappuccino and Mocha without whipped cream. The cashier looked at me like she didn't understand and called someone over which was a manager or assistant manager.
As I gave my McCafe order, another customer walked to the next register and told the manager to help him.....which she did. I looked at the cashier and asked is the deal. The cashier said it was her last day. I told her I didn't blame her.
About this time, the manager finished and walked to the back. I asked if I could speak to her. The manager came back and I asked why she took the other order instead of finishing mine. She just looked at me and didn't say anything.
McCafe: McDonald's Cappuccino Review: Things Went South
I was about to walk out when the cashier gave my McCafe order. The manager went to get my McCafe Cappuccino so I gave the cashier my credit card. She swiped while I watched the manger. I placed the card back in my billfold just as my order appeared. I took it and asked for a receipt. The manager mumbled. I asked about the receipt again and the manager said they were out of paper.
By now, I am ready to dump my McCafe coffee on her so I left. I knew writing this review would make me feel better. Needless to say, I will never go back. And I decided my experiment with McDonald's McCafe Coffee is over.
Believe it or not, when I tried to find the McDonald's in the phone book for this review, there was no listing. I called other McDonald's and they couldn't find it either. I ended up speaking with a manager named Cortes at the McDonald's at 6700 N. May Ave. He offered to drive over and get their address. I wouldn't let him but I will try a McCafe Coffee from his restaurant because he was so nice.
McCafe: McDonald's Cappuccino Review: Oklahoma City
Oh, and I finally got the address from McDonald's website. And the Cappuccino and Mocha I ordered were excellent. So the bottom line of my McCafe review is the restaurant is going to make a huge difference. Right now, I don't think it's worth it to save on the McCafe Coffee. All three McCafe Coffee's I tried were excellent so I guess you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find a prince. Find a McDonald's with decent management and you might enjoy the McCafe Coffee.

Post a CommentI've never been so captivated by a Micky D review! I tried a free iced coffee at the McD near me. Tasted fine, but yeah the customer service is nowhere near Starbucks.
I am not running to a McDonald's any time soon. Our local McD's has similar customer service to your bad one.
You should write to the Hamburglar about the shoddy service you received...or whoever is running the show these days.
I won't set foot in a McDonald's... Not after watching that flick, I believe it's called Supersize Me.
that manager must have woke up on the wrong side of the bed....
Hmmm, I love coffee, but haven't seen a McCafe around these parts yet. Though I'm not really a fan of anything McDonalds, I'd try their coffee based on this review...:-)
Misspelled "Cappuccino" should really go to bed. :-)
yes, I've had a long day. sorry. The Cappaccino were good but the service was bad! I have found my experience there similar.
On the second page, I said the Cappuccino and Mocha were excellent. I think you might have missed it.
Not a great experience at McD's huh? How was the cappuccino? :-)
