McCain or Obama - Who Can Decide? a Presidential Political Limerick

Angie Grey
Obama seems to like off-shore oil
So does McCain, oh, the workers toil
Oil or gas - it's the same today
I don't know, to my dismay
However, the presidential debate will boil.

The Dems and Reps look the same to me
Perhaps I'm color blind you see
The candidates seem to blend in
Someone must know who will win
The President is not out at the golf tee.

The candidates this year
I must lend my full attention, my ear
Although if I watch on the telly
My sensibilities will get smelly
Perhaps my ear will be full of beer.

McCain with disdain did complain out
To an audience in wheelchairs and shout
To the refrain of the hearing aide band
These young folk don't understand
That we need oil money to be economic grout.

Obama had his pacifier set to outreach
As he preached to the toddlers, to beseech
Barely out of diapers and into boxer shorts
Dancing to the music of words, cavorts
Not ready to vote, let alone impeach.

Political limerick how ridiculous you are
The most preposterous rhyme ever by far....
Obama and McCain go to Hofstra for lunch
Then, to speak before the collegiate bunch
Although, the announcer is really the star.
