All these years I have been unscrewing the lid and shaking the desired amount of spice from the bottle. Now, I unscrew the lid, screw the lid back on, flip the lid - then I can shake the bottle! This happens almost daily. Just yesterday I almost ruined a pot of food....again.
I know....I know....that progress thing, but, it takes a long, long time to break a 40 something year old habit. There have been many changes over the last decade in packaging quantities, sizes, shapes and prices. None have effected my world as severely as this. (At least it seems at the moment.)
I am sure the elimination of a cap will result in a cost savings in the manufacturing process. It might even result in an increase in sales if enough of us unscrew the lid and dump the entire bottle! Or a ban...I could form a picket group.....
Well, maybe not. It will take time....I will adjust and forgive McCormick, eventually.
