McCormick Hot Taco Seasoning Mix is packaged in a one point twenty five ounce package. It is readily available in most grocery stores and discount department stores where food products are offered. Usually found in the aisle where all the taco fixings are sold, I have also seen this product displayed in racks with only showcase seasoning packets and bottles. I have only ever paid between a dollar and two for this product, and have often found it on sale for as little as seventy five cents. Even at it's highest price, I consider the cost to be a real bargain.
This seasoning mix contains twenty calories per two teaspoon serving size. This is an adequate amount of seasoning for two tacos. Zero grams of Fat are contained in this serving size, however there is a whopping four hundred and thirty milligrams of Sodium contained in this amount. Those on a low Salt or reduced Salt diet should seriously take this factor into consideration, as a meager two teaspoons contains eighteen percent of the daily recommended value of Sodium. There is only one gram of Sugar in this product as well as three grams of Total Carbohydrate and four percent of Vitamin A.
The ingredients listed on the back of the package state that this seasoning mix is made with onion, milk, oregano, red pepper, salt, chili pepper, paprika, garlic, potato starch and citric acid. The combination of spices used to create this mix is certainly a winner for those of us who love the taste of hot, bold and spicy. The chili pepper, garlic and onion definitely stand out in this product as it surely gives off some serious heat.
One of the reasons why I love McCormick Hot Taco Seasoning Mix is the many different ways I can put this product to good use. I have used this product to spice up a plain meatloaf, to season chicken pieces for fajitas, as additional flavoring for chili and to make a quick dip with softened cream cheese. The unlimited possibilities for this handy little seasoning makes it an excellent product to keep on hand.
Anyone who loves to add a bit of spice and heat to their foods should consider this a must have pantry item. The low price, bold flavor and versatility makes this product a real winner.

My days of eating "hot" anything are over I'm afraid....otherwise, this sounded like something I would have enjoyed.
