McCormick Recalls Product Due to Undeclared Allergen
According to the FDA, the recalled McCormick product is sold in a 10 ounce package with the UPC code 4123470111. The recalled Golden Dipt Fry Easy All-Purpose Batter will contain a Best By date of November 17th, 2011.
There have been no illnesses reported in connection with the recalled McCormick product. However, anytime a product contains an undeclared allergen, it can be recalled.
Those allergic to eggs may have a life threatening reaction if this product was used. McCormick stated there are a limited number of these products on the market.
According to the Centers for Disease Control, someone with a food allergy may experience symptoms ranging from hives, swelling of the tongue, a rash, a loss of consciousness and more. For complete details please view this website.
All stores with the recalled McCormick Golden Dipt Fry Easy All-Purpose Batter will be notified to remove the product from store shelves.
Consumers with the recalled McCormick product may contact McCormick directly rather than returning the product to the store where purchased. Those with the McCormick product will be offered a replacement coupon or refund from
