McCormick and Schmick's Seafood Restaurant in Denver: Review

McCormick and Schmick's Seafood restaurant entreats you from the beginning. The exterior of the restaurant is beautiful and has a blue and green glass dome on top giving you images of the sea. The delicious seafood restaurant is located in Denver's Tech Center, this area is just a few minutes into Denver and an easy transit right off the freeway. The inside of the restaurant is wide open and airy giving the large amount of guests plenty of room.

McCormick and Schmick's has a wide array of delicious dishes ranging from daily changing seafood, pasta, and beef. Just don't prepare to have the same thing every time you go because they create their menu around the freshest ingredients that they get flown in same day. I had a Halibut in a rich peppercorn sauce which was delicious but I haven't found it in visits since. The food however is always delicious and very fresh. They also have a great bar that serves a killer Cosmo and Appletini. You will never see a blended drink at this bar because they only hire true mixologists with a talent of making a true art form with your drink. They also have a classic list of wines to compliment your meals. Although the evening usually require nicer clothes than your holey jeans and ripped up t-shirts you will still see people in jeans and shirts. You will also see more formal wear and anything between. The afternoon crowd is more casual as well. Although the regular evening menu can be pricey with meals averaging around 18.00 dollars a piece, you can still eat on a budget in the afternoon or at the bar during happy hour. The bar at McCormick and Schmick's has the 1.95 menu which has sliders, and even mussels. On the menu itself it will not only state the fresh fish flown in that day but it will also tell you where from.

Due to the location parking is easy they have a large parking lot which does fill up when busy. If possible make a reservation which you can do by phone or even online on their website. Otherwise on a weekend you could be looking at a wait of an hour or more. Kids can also enjoy the environment because it isn't stuffy and with a kids menu and over 80 different type of seafood everyday they wont get bored.

McCormick and Schmick's also holds weddings or caters depending on the group function. They will even help you plan the special event. This restaurant is truly in a class of its own for delicious food and service.
