McDonald's in Center Moriches, New York - Food and Play

What can you say about McDonald's food, you pretty much know what you are in for. My two year old son loves "Donnie's", that is what he calls it. I am not a huge fan of McDonald's food but since my son loves it so much, I usually take him there at least three to four times a month. The best thing that I do love about the McDonald's located in Center Moriches, New York is the fact that they have an outdoor playground.

As soon as the weather gets warm enough, I take my son there for dinner and some playtime. First he will usually eat and have a happy meal, then I will take him outside to play on the slides. The happy meal comes with a juice box, the meal, fries, and a toy. He loves getting his happy meals. The price can't be beat. I usually order something from there 99 cent menu since he doesn't usually finish all of his food.

What I also like about the McDonald's located in Center Moriches is that someone usually helps me carry my food to the table because I am also getting the high chair for my son. I have been to other McDonald's and nobody helps me. Just going that extra mile makes such a difference for a busy mom with only two hands and a toddler running away from her.

I would have to say that the only thing that I do not like about this McDonald's is that the bathroom situation is pretty gross. I needed to change my son's diaper on our last trip there and when I walked into the bathroom I was in shock. Without getting into too much detail and grossing you out as well, the manager needs to focus on keeping those bathrooms a lot cleaner. If my son was potty trained, I wouldn't have allowed him anywhere near that bathroom. I would have to put on a diaper on him whenever we go there. It's a good thing I didn't need to use it myself, there would have been no way.

The outdoor playground is good for children anywhere from two years old up to about 7 years old. I have noticed children a little older playing on the slides and tunnels but I don't think it is safe for the little ones when the bigger ones are playing on it. No one supervises the playground, that is something else they should be doing. The other thing about the playground is that the seats outside are too small. They are a perfect size for the kids but let's be real, are the kids really sitting at those tables? No, they are playing. It is the adults are left to sit and break their backs on those tiny round seats. Painful.

Overall, the McDonald's in Center Moriches had good points and bad points. If you are willing to overlook some of the bad points, it's not a bad place to bring your child for a quick dinner and some play time. I still bring my son there and will continue to do so, even if the bathrooms are gross. Maybe I will talk to the manager the next time I go. That might make a difference.
