McPherson Elementary School Seeks Classroom Helpers

McPherson Elementary School, located at 4728 North Wolcott Avenue in Chicago's Lincoln Square neighborhood, could use your help by volunteering in a classroom. In this capacity, you would be assisting a teacher help his or her students with their vocabulary words, setting up bulletin boards, assisting with art projects or simply offering your assistance in areas that you feel you excel in. Other available volunteer opportunities include tutoring students in the classroom.

The tutoring students volunteer opportunity allows you to help students with their work either before or after school. If you are unable to volunteer your time, McPherson is welcoming donated art supplies such as tempera paints, drawing paper, marking pens, crayons and water colors. In addition, sports equipment such as soccer balls, sports trophies and gift cards are always appreciated.
