it began with an Apple Computer
The apple had just been put into the schools
and was terribly expensive.
The computer came with tons of books
and loads of disks-big and small
I did not know how to operate a computer
and it did not know how to tell me 'how to'
I traded in the computer for a PC
I felt it was better for my purpose
of playing games
A few years later I updated it
for a PC model that was more up to date
This has gone on for years
until the computers stabilized
and all of this time
my use had changed -
I had become a writer.
This was when I felt I needed more
more power, a larger screen
and went back to the Apple store
and found my "Mac Dream"
I bought a mini mac, it fit on top of my desktop
It was so small, that when I visited my daughter
I would put it into my purse
and take it along.
It was then that I fell madly in love
with the Apple computer
It no longer came with tons of books
to teach me how to use it
I loved it! until this week
I loved it so much I wanted more!
It worked so well I wanted it larger
And so, I went back to the
Apple Store..
And, you know what I did?
I bought myself a beautiful Apple iMac
with a 21 inch screen
with the computer a part of the screen
without the need for wires and cables.
It works like a dream! and I fell inlove
with my first love
The Apple Computer
This is not a commercial for Apple
what works for me might not work for you
I just wanted to share my thoughts
about how much I enjoy computers
especially my first computer love
The Apple iMac

Post a CommentMy first computer was a Mac, way back around 1988 or 1989. It was a part of my family. I loved it so much it took me 20 years to toss it (or is it in my storage building still?). I've been on PCs ever since because that's what ended up in my school years later. But oh, my fondness for all things Apple.
very nice! sounds fun
Apple pie is better than Apple iMac! But to each his own!
It sounds like you like your IMac! Great writing!
