Me Too Children's Clothing Launch

For years, Me Too has been a staple of European children's fashions. The brand offers a full range of clothing from newborn to age 10. This season, they are launching their whimsical fashions here in America.

This Danish company became popular thanks to their high quality, affordable prices, and remarkable color combinations. Me Too's motto is to design clothes for, "Small kids who care what to wear."

The Royal Danish Consulate General has decided to help promote Danish designer here in the US and they've launched a campaign to get the word out about this fun children's clothing line. American parents can expect to start seeing the brand in local boutiques this Spring.

A few weeks ago, I was able to tour their New York showroom and see what all the buzz is about. Here's what you can expect from Me Too: a spring collection full of eye-catching details, clever mixes of patterns and last but not least, color, color and color! When executed right, the witty combinations come across as surprising and fresh, but not clown-like.

For girls, spring is represented in the tropical colors of a peacock. Pieces include frayed tunics, denim skirts, twill knickers and smart sequin harem pants and tops. The prints appear to be inspired by 70's floral patterns and the embroidery has an Asian feel.

For boys, the clothes represent adventure. The boys' styles incorporate bold color and graphic prints and the result is a winner. Jungle animals are a source of inspiration and aviation themes are also prominent. Finally, boys will be treated to reliable denim pieces to round out the collection.

Now that we've talked about spring, I'll jump ahead to autumn 2007. For this season, Me Too is proudly showing off more bold color combinations and multidimensional prints. New for fall 2007, will be a phenomenal knit and velour collection for infants and toddlers. The baby collection will include winter coats for tiny tots.

Me Too fall fashions for girls will sport camouflage trousers in fresh prints and colors. Special applications and knit embroidery will make this autumn collection even more bubbly and enchanting. Boys can look forward to cool graphic prints accented with spray effects, and embroidery.

Despite their sturdy construction, these clothes look and feel like treasures. Any little boy or girl would gladly get ready for school or a play date with a closet stocked with Me Too clothing. I know there's a lot of competition out there in children's clothing, but this brand stands out. These are clothes that are meant to be worn and enjoyed.
