RVers who plan on an extended stay will be pleased to know that there are bathhouses and a laundry facility on the property. Rates vary by the amount of time spent or expected to be spent here. The rate for staying over night is $30 plus tax and weekly the rate is $106 plus tax. Meaher State Park is located where the Mobile-Tensaw Delta and Mobile Bay meet on Ducker Bay. Here guests can try their hand at fishing from a 300' pier or from their own boat which can be put into the Blakeley River from a ramp located at the east end of Meaher State Park. Guests can also enjoy picnicking or strolling down 2 nature trails that will lead them into the Delta Marsh where they could come across wildlife native to the area.
The draw back to staying at Meaher State Park could be the limited access to internet even with an air card and the limited access to television as satellites may or may not work due to the shade trees in the park. This could determine which RV site you choose to stay at while here.
Whether you are in this area for work or for pleasure, Meaher State Park, which is a mere 1,327 acres. Here you can enjoy a multitude of activities should you choose to or you can simply relax in your own RV that is parked on a spacious RV site. For more information on staying here, call 251-626-5529 or you can go to www.alapark.com/Meaher.
