Meat, Meat, Meat the Las Vegas Brazilian Treat

This last week my family went for our vacation in Las Vegas; We have been to Vegas many times over the years but this last visit we had the most wonderful dinning experience at a classy casual family restaurant named Pampas Brazilian Grille.

It was my birthday and my husband wanted to take me to a nice restaurant that was affordable for the entire family to attend and still be full in an hour. We went to the Miracle Mile Mall located inside the New Planet Hollywood Casino. This mall has several shops and restaurants to choose from.

One had caught the eye of my husband and I as the waiters and waitresses were carrying skewers of meat around from table to table. We thought this was odd and decided to investigate further. So this is where we ate my birthday dinner.

They had a wide variety of appetizers including wings, chicken strips and seafood. The main menu offers a limited selection of entrees but the 3 that we indulged in were the Rodizios Specials such as the Surf and Turf Rodizios, the Meat Rodizios and the Seafood Rodizios.

The surf and turf includes bacon wrapped scallops; shrimp glazed with garlic butter, grilled salmon and tempura cod. Lamb, beef, turkey Wrapped in bacon, BBQ pork and grilled pineapple along with several other wonderful meats and a full salad bar with items such as green beans with a cream sauce and Caesar salad.

The Meat Rodizios includes lamb, beef, turkey Wrapped in bacon, BBQ pork and grilled pineapple along with several other wonderful meats and a full salad bar with items such as pasta primavera and green salad.

The Seafood Rodizios includes bacon wrapped scallops; shrimp glazed with garlic butter, grilled salmon and tempura cod and a full salad bar with items such as tomato with mozzarella and stuffed bell peppers.

These 3 specials are all you can eat and this is not a regular buffet where you go to the food bar and pick your food the food is brought to your table via skewers by the waiters/waitresses one right after the other. With the exception of the actual salads that are served at the bar.

The waiter/waitress refills your drinks before they are empty and just keep the meat coming. This restaurant tantalizes your tastes buds with a variety of wonderful flavors. They serve Coke products at Pampas which is rare today most places serve Pepsi, so that was nice. They also offer a full selection of wine and other alcoholic beverages if that is what you want to wet you whistle with.

Now when we first saw the menu we were a little surprised by the prices with the turf and surf being $49.00 and the Meat Rodizios $33.00 and the seafood Rodizios $35.00 but this is an all you can eat price and they literally mean ALL YOU CAN EAT!

The price you pay for this meal is well worth the quality of food and the quality of service. Our waiter's name was Roberto and he was very professional, helpful and even personable. The other waiters/waitresses that came to our table were attentive to our needs as the consumers. Roberto even brought out a piece of Cheese cake with fresh raspberries on top with a candle for my birthday.

As far as the delivery of the meats and pineapple you can either use the Yes, Please or No, Thank you cards they created to let the waiters/waitresses know when your are ready to eat meat or take a break.

I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who happens to be staying, visiting or just passing through Las Vegas as we were very satisfied with the value our dollar received from Pampas Brazilian Grille. So if you are planning a trip to Vegas then be sure to stop in and ask for Roberto and be sure to wear baggy clothes as you are guaranteed to be full when you leave because if your not then you did not flip your card over.
